Southern Constructors served as the General Contractor for the Oak Center Development, a multi-building commercial project designed to maximize leasable space while preserving the character of the site. With a construction value of $3.5 million, our team worked closely with A. Beazley Architecture to execute a two-phase plan that delivered 13,500 sq ft of premium commercial space while protecting and building around the property’s two landmark oak trees. Thoughtful site planning, careful excavation, and coordinated foundation work ensured these century-old oaks remained untouched and fully integrated into the development’s layout.

Phase One produced two purpose-built structures: one crafted for a professional dental office and the other designed to support a café concept with flexible interior options. By phasing construction strategically, we helped the developer reduce upfront costs without limiting future expansion. Today, Oak Center stands as a modern commercial destination rooted in its natural landscape, with its preserved oaks serving as the centerpiece — a standout example of our ability to blend cost-effective delivery with craftsmanship, coordination, and care.
