Southern Constructors successfully delivered the Mermentau River Boat Launch in Mermentau, LA, providing safe, reliable access to the Mermentau River for boaters, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts. This project involved full site clearing and grading, the installation of a reinforced concrete boat ramp designed to withstand fluctuating water levels, and new bulkheads for bank stabilization, for easy launching and mooring.

By improving public river access, this project has boosted local recreation and tourism, offering residents and visitors a safe, well-maintained facility to enjoy fishing, boating, and water sports. It also supports the local economy by drawing more visitors to the area and providing a convenient launch point for commercial and rescue vessels when needed.
