Southern Constructors is proud to have completed the first-ever solar water treatment facility in New Iberia, Louisiana—a groundbreaking project that brought together every division of our company in a unified effort.

Our team completed the entire project in just 9 months—without compromising safety or quality. This achievement stands as a testament to our commitment to excellence, efficiency, and teamwork.

This facility is engineered to filter thousands of gallons of water daily, supporting the adjacent 2.4 million sq. ft. solar panel manufacturing facility for First Solar. Our work ensures a sustainable and reliable water system tailored for one of the most advanced renewable energy sites in the region.

Southern Constructors completed the entirety of this project, in-house, with our own divisions (minus having to sub-out the water wells). Every yellow fabrication component—from custom brackets to large structural assemblies—was measured, cut, and built in-house with absolute precision. We had one shot to get it right, and we delivered.
